Are your products safe to use?

Yes. All Van Works products are produced using safe, non-toxic materials and are manufactured in accordance with applicable South African legislative and safety requirements. Our processes prioritize consumer safety, product stability, and quality control.

Are your products vegan-friendly?

In most cases, yes. Where possible, our products are vegan-friendly. However, due to the nature of artisanal production and ingredient availability, not all products are guaranteed to be vegan. Customers with specific ethical, or allergen concerns are encouraged to contact us before purchasing.

Are your products tested on animals?

No. Van Works does not support animal testing. Our products and raw materials are sourced responsibly and ethically.

Do your products contain harmful chemicals?

No. We avoid unnecessary additives and harsh substances. Our soaps, candles, and scent bags are formulated to be safe for normal domestic use when used as intended.

Are your products suitable for sensitive skin?

While many customers with sensitive skin use our products without issue, individual reactions can vary. We recommend performing a patch test before first use. If irritation occurs, discontinue use immediately.

How should your products be stored?

Store all products in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. This helps preserve fragrance integrity and product performance.

What is your return policy?

Returns are accepted within 7 days of purchase, provided the product is:

• Unopened
• Unused
• In its original packaging

Due to hygiene and safety considerations, opened or used products cannot be returned.

Who covers return shipping costs?

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. Van Works does not cover courier or postage fees for returned items.

What if my product arrives damaged?

If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of receipt with clear photographic evidence. Each case is assessed individually.

Do your products comply with regulations?

Yes. All Van Works products are manufactured to conform with relevant South African legislation and regulatory requirements applicable to cosmetics, fragranced goods, and consumer products.
